Saint Augustine
I’ll probably keep working on it, but not tonight.
I finally finished my first coffee table! I’m happy to know it is serving my sister well now. (my Christmas present to her…and yeah I know, I’m a bit late finishing all the staining and whatnot.)
I used a few 1x3”-8ft and 1x4”-8ft douglas fir wooden boards, 3.5” 5/16 bolts and nuts, and 1.5” screws. I chose a prestain/wood conditioner, dark walnut stain, and a satin finish polyurethane top coat. I made all the cuts with a miter saw and of course used a drill for the hardware.
Hopefully I’ll be starting a new project soon!
Just got sucked into pinterest for 10 minutes while my shower was running…
I decided to try to make my own version of a classic. It is a video to avoid tumblr degrading the sound file so much.
i love this…cover coming soon

![I painted this a while ago of the flowers on my bathroom counter :]
{My aim was to paint something that didn’t grab attention. I wanted it to just be decoration, like how the flowers in my bathroom are simply there to make that room more interesting.}](http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m2n03032l31qbx9gpo1_500.png)

pretty easy project overall, constructed from a pallet and fabric, also would make a good coffee table with larger dimensions.](http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lquvvqcEQR1qbx9gpo1_500.png)
